Press Release 2008 - Hawaii nationals from the mainland visit at the Provincial Government <link>
Hawaiian nationals from the mainland led by Stanley Togikawa and wife Joan paid a courtesy visit at the Provincial Government and presented Hawaiian dance and song numbers during the regular flag raising ceremony conducted at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol. With the group are Randy and Gay Hongo, Ethel Kubo, Danette Kong, Clyde Kakiechi, Lilliane Hiramatsu, Julie Repass and Itsuko Oshiro. Acting Gov. Isidro P. Zayco welcomed the group in the presence of Provincial Administrator Enrique S. Pinongan, PNP Provincial Director Col. Rosendo Franco, Economic Enterprise Development Dept. Head Atty. Japhet Masculino, and Hospital Operations Chief Dr. Rhoel Mogul among others. The group earlier donated two container vans of medical equipment worth P10 million which is now being used at the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.
